Storm Marine was founded in November 2001. Its main activity was providing agency services to ships in the port of Vladivostok. Over time, the geography of service provision expanded significantly: through our branches, we began to work in ports throughout the Far East region—Vladivostok, Posyet, Zarubino, Vostochny, Nakhodka, Vanino, Sovetskaya Gavan, Kholmsk, Shakhtersk, and Uglegorsk.

The company's scope of activities has also expanded: ship chartering and transport and logistics services have been added to its maritime agency services. Since 2011, Storm Marine has been operating a branch in Hong Kong to develop more effectively in the Asia-Pacific freight market.

In 2019, Storm Marine South LLC was established and an office was opened in Taman (Krasnodar Krai) to operate in the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin: Taman, Kavkaz, and Temryuk.

The Storm Marine team has experience in servicing cargo-passenger ships. For 10 years, from 2009 to 2019, it was the general agent for the DBS CRUISE FERRY CO. LTD. cargo-passenger ferry line. The Eastern Dream ferry operated regular service on the Vladivostok – Donghae (Republic of Korea) – Sakainomato, Maizuru (Japan) route. Our company provided agency, forwarding, and ticket sales services.

Year after year, the company developed dynamically, increasing the volume of ships, goods, and cargo serviced. Business contacts and cooperation with shipowners and exporters in Russia and abroad expanded. The company's staff grew. Further transformations of the company were required for more effective operations and personnel management.

In 2024, the company underwent reorganization and was renamed Storm Marine Asia, comprising separate divisions Vostochny and Vanino. Storm Marine Asia LLC became the managing organization for Storm Marine LLC and Storm Marine South LLC.
